BEVEC Ltd is responsible for the personal information collected through our giveaway pages and associated email signup forms.

In this notice, “BEVEC”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean BEVEC Ltd.

This notice covers our giveaways, giveaway alerts and associated marketing subscriptions.

2. Information we collect

When you participate or sign up, we collect information relevant to your request, including:

• Your name, if you choose to provide it.
• The title of the giveaway you claimed.
• The date and time of your submission.
• Your claim code and the status of your claim.
• Your choices about giveaway alerts and general marketing.
• Your email confirmation and subscription status.
• A record of the terms, privacy links and checkbox wording presented when you submitted.
• Information you provide when contacting us or arranging delivery, collection or redemption.

Your email address is required to administer a giveaway claim or email subscription. Your name is optional on the initial form.

If we need further information to fulfil a giveaway, such as a delivery address, we will explain why when requesting it. Without necessary fulfilment details, we may be unable to provide the item.

The giveaway system also uses temporary protected identifiers derived from email addresses and connection IP addresses to limit excessive submissions and prevent abuse. Hosting and security services may process technical connection information in their logs.

We collect information directly from you when you submit a form, confirm a subscription or contact us.

3. Why we use your information

Giveaway administration

We use your information to process submissions, allocate giveaways, send confirmations, manage redemption, arrange fulfilment and answer questions.

Our lawful basis is performance of the giveaway agreement with you, including steps you request before entering that agreement.

Giveaway alerts

If you opt in, we use your email address to tell you about upcoming giveaway openings.

Our lawful basis is your consent. We ask you to confirm your email address before activating your subscription.

General marketing

If you separately opt in, we may email you about BEVEC’s services, events, publications, offers and business updates.

Our lawful basis is your consent. General marketing is optional and is not required to receive a giveaway.

Security and fair administration

We use limited information to prevent misuse, protect the service, investigate complaints and maintain appropriate evidence of how giveaways were administered.

Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in operating a secure, fair service and resolving disputes. We consider your rights and expectations when relying on these interests.

Legal requirements

Where necessary, we process information to comply with legal obligations.

Accepting giveaway terms or acknowledging this notice does not give us permission to send general marketing.

4. Your email choices

Giveaway alerts and general marketing are separate choices. Neither option is selected automatically.

Claiming a giveaway does not automatically subscribe you to either list.

You can withdraw your consent by using the unsubscribe link in a subscription email or contacting us through https://bevec.uk/contact/.

An unsubscribe link stops the subscriptions managed by the service that sent it. If you want all BEVEC marketing stopped, tell us through our contact page.

Unsubscribing does not cancel an accepted giveaway claim. We may still send necessary, non-promotional messages about confirmation, redemption or fulfilment.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You have the right to object to the use of your personal information for direct marketing at any time.

5. Who we share information with

We may share relevant information with:

• Authorised BEVEC staff administering giveaways and subscriptions.
• Website hosting, maintenance and security providers.
• Email delivery and subscription-management providers.
• Fulfilment partners or couriers where needed to provide your giveaway.
• Professional advisers or public authorities where necessary for legal obligations or claims.

We limit sharing to information needed for the relevant purpose.

Where a provider processes information on our behalf, we require appropriate arrangements to protect it.
